Original Artwork's Description

Another fun , vibrant piece with hints of bold and subtle hues. A landscape filled with a tree in orange and a dam for sheep to gather. I grew up with sheep and farming and only introduced this wonderful subject matter to my practice in recent years. I had such a fabulous response to my first pieces that I have continued to create works with my quirky, abstract sheep as the prominent subject matter. I am always out photographing and sketching livestock and the landscape, with hundreds of preliminary A4 sketches to use as a reference for future works. This piece is more complex than some of my other more simplistic works, however, I thoroughly enjoy creating anything with this fabulous, oddly defined creature. This piece sits beautifully with other works on this page. You may prefer a single work or two complimentary pieces to fill your space. You can also utilise Bluethumb’s framing service. Enjoy.

Artist Bio

My artistry is a place to nourish the soul. A journey of art filled with energy, life and colour, with a glimpse into my personality as a creative. Visual harmony is evident in works on paper and canvas, from calm, soothing palettes to vibrant, playful creations. Residing in the beautiful Southern Highlands countryside , inspired by road trips across the Australian landscape and the wonders of Mother Nature. A symphony of colour derived from a long held love for fashion and design. Art is to be enjoyed, therefore I draw, I sketch, I play with ideas, new designs, new inspiration. Whilst considering sumptuous hues and their application for tactile creations. Margo Carlon Art resides in interiors across Australia and Internationally.
