Artwork Description

Mixed Media on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the back.

A mélange was made while in Bali nearing the end of our four month stay. It is an assemblage of beautiful memories and impressions. The process was quite different from my usual one starting with four separate windows and then bringing the thick layered pieces together. I also used a different color palette to my usual one especially I liked using Naples yellow and a bit of black which is a first and water soluble oil pastels.
A little inspiration from a favorite Dutch painter Arie Smit who lived and worked most of his life in Bali and was a great influence on the young artists styles during the 20th century.
Mounted on deep edged artist pane and ready to hang
The Insitu photos were hard to take because of the black border so not totally perfect, the border can also be painted in another color if requested
Varnished, signed on the back with a certificate of authenticity
