This water colour painting has been influenced by my travel in Sri Lanka. We, my husband and I ended up in Negombo where we thought would find a very nice beach amongst other interesting things. The beach was very neglected and dirty, there was an English woman who was there cleaning up the beach every day again and again from rubbish! We gave her a hand and it looked nice after she left and we found this stranded fisherman’s boat sitting so beautifully on the beach that I had to paint it. Not really my usual style and a challenge that way but I really like it it has created a real atmosphere of the gorgeous place it basically is! Ready to hang as the artwork is mounted on a deep edge artist panel or additionally can be framed. Frames in picture not included
