The fourth in the series of small flower paintings. The tiny Port Wine Magnolia flower arrives in Spring and appears as a closed bud for ever so long. Every now and then one of the flowers opens out to expose the rich colours. The bees are attracted to the flowers and the bush is a buzz with life. This painting is a realistic view of the tiny flower in all its beauty.
