Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect. In my painting I have used a monoprint from my palette. I then formed it into a composition.
The title comes after. Of course, seeing or creating a recognisable image means it is no longer abstract.
