Artwork Description

Mixed media on paper 42x59 cms framed and varnished. When the conversation is too serious and someone makes a joke, it kind of lightens up the discussion and acts like a trigger to better concentrate on the subject being discussed and arriving at better outcomes and solutions.
In this piece, the colour on the left of the painting is darker than the right creating a contrast in the conversation. The numbers will be found in most of my paintings. This is an abstract concept as it is not found in nature but has been created by man to communicate a quantity or solve problems..
I throw in lines and marks which gives the painting its own unique language. and captures the viewer's attention and draws him into the artwork.

Artist Bio

Hello there art lovers.

Just a few lines about myself, I am a self taught painter. I was born in India and now live in Australia. Always had an interest in drawing and painting from a very young age and had an interest in real life painting. As the years went by I gradually turned to surrealism as I wanted to explore another way to express myself.

My main medium was oils , and I found it easy to blend colors. During this period I began to dabble in abstracts and mixing the two together. I called it "SURABS". Now I am very much into abstract painting and I find you need to use your imagination. Now I paint with oils and acrylics. I paint using a layering technique, besides using brushes I also use a pallet knife, scrapers and rags. Just one characteristic you may notice in my paintings is the cluster of dots. This represents nature, where you find clusters of the same objects grouped together.Just like businesses, jewelry shops , real estate, galleries, chemists, eating housed, even the cluster of stars. they tend to group together.People tend to do that also and that's how we now have mega cities.

I hope you enjoy these paintings and thank you for visiting my site and Blue Thumb.
