Flowers in Blue Vase

Original acrylic on canvas painting. Vivid colors were used to create this art inspired by the beauty of nature. The purpose of the colors used was to excite the eye and give a feeling of happiness and well being. Care of this painting requires an occasional wipe down with a damp cloth. Several coats of a protective varnish has been applied.

I am a self taught artist. I prefer to work in acrylic on canvas. My tendency is to use vivid color to create my paintings inspired by the beauty I see in the world. I want people to feel excited, happy, and optimistic when they view my art. I am semi-retired from my day job and create my art in my time off. When not creating art I am interacting with my family and my three dogs.
