A small seascape capturing the view of a white sailboat on the horizon, passing by on a warm winter's day, under a big blue sky at my local beach near Byron Bay, on the north coast of NSW, in Australia. It's a mostly deserted long stretch of sand fringed by natural bush land and distant mountains. It's my 'go to' for solitude and connection to nature where I can watch the whales passing and eagles flying. Here I have tried to capture the love and joy I feel when I am alone on this beach, throwing myself into the ocean for a swim, or beach combing for shells and rocks which always seem to find their way home in my pockets .
This work comes framed 22cms x 27cms in an oak-look timber, under glass, and an off-white mount board as seen in the attached photos.
Cheers
