My love of creative pursuits, particularly art and fashion has always been a huge part of my life.
As a child, painting and drawing was my source of comfort and happiness. So it was no surprise that the creative world was something I was drawn to professionally.
After working as a pattern maker and in visual merchandising for over a decade. I still felt something was missing.
Whilst I enjoyed the creativity these roles provided, I realised that I still yearned for the unstructured, messy, and child-like joy that came from painting.
So after a long hiatus, the urge to paint led me to rediscover my old kit which I still use to this day (plus a few updates!)
My works are a mixed bag from still-life, large florals ,flowing abstracts and watercolour works.
I currently dedicate a few days a week to painting, in between working and caring for my young family.
