Artwork Description

Oil on linen, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

I have this beautiful blue and white Japanese ceramic bowl that I have been wanting to paint. I have also been wanting to paint an orange. How perfect to paint them together as they are have a colour partnership crying out to be put together. Orange and blue - complimentary colours. Delicious! How could an orange be called anything else but an orange.

This could be great as a housewarming gift. It would fit beautifully in a kitchen of family room. It is only small at 30cms square, painted on primed linen.
