Signed on the front.

There is a flight of stairs near where I live that I walk up each day. On each step are fallen leaves. They fascinate me as they are slowly decaying, but their colours and shapes are beautiful and have inspired me to paint this picture. They are from an Australian gum tree that shades the stairway.

I have modified my signature to initials and year painted on the front of the artwork and have labelled the back with my name and painting title. My surname is quite long so felt I should mark my painting in a simpler way.
