There is a time of the day and year, when the sun sits in the right place, to give a golden glow and gives a warmth and depth of colour to the things it shines on. The colours in nature at this moment are almost unreal, abstract, and play tricks on the mind but brings a feeling of joy and wonder, about how nature does what it does. This is how I felt when seeing this tree while on a walk in Autumn. This painting would suit a warm living space hanging on its own, or give some pop, hanging amongst other art works. The sides are painted in a burnt orange colour to rest against the softer blue sky in the background of the painting.
