This tree stood alone on a hill at the end of a path. Providing shade and shelter under its expanding branches it was magnificent in its splendour. I saw this tree in the NSW countryside around Yass. It was a beautiful day. The light and never ending Australian blue sky provided an opportunity and inspiration to paint this solitary tree.
