Wandering through a local farmers market I was drawn to the colours of “Some Radishes “. The gorgeous shades of crimson and soft greens made them look like rubies on velvet cloth. They were in a basket lined with pretty mauve hessian. I love painting still lives and here was something for me to capture in my oils. This one is framed in a natural Victorian Ash frame. There is something earthy and organic about this vegetable. More than just a salad garnish. How nice it would look in a warm family area, in a kitchen, dinning room or sunroom. Anywhere in fact. Maybe a cafe or restaurant.
