With multiple light sources casting many shadows, a beautiful transparent shadow made by light passing through the yellow liquid is cast in front of the bottle.

My work has been highly influenced by the world of commercial art and graphic design. This translates to my art in many ways. My still life paintings are careful composition full of allegories, which capture a moment in time where all represented items are meaningful beyond the composition.

I love playing with iconic images and changing the text to create new meaning. 'Crazy Love' is a still life that features white roses in and around a bottle of perfume. The bottle is recognised as the iconic Chanel No 5 by Coco Chanel, however I have changed the text on the label to read 'Coco Loco Chérie Amour' which very loosely translates to Crazy Love.
