Rivers Lined with Gold. Part of new and exciting series of artworks by Meredith Howse. The name stems from early Australian life when riverbeds and creeks were lined with alluvial gold.
Inspired by the colours of the countryside comes a sophisticated collection of abstract landscapes using rich deep greens, earthy browns and warm ochre’s, with a splash of blue to symbolise our rivers, dams and blue sky’s. Using a birds eye view point and a textured canvas, connections are made between colours and lines.
