My passion for gardening has led me along the pathway to the joys of painting nature and flowers in particular. The subject matter is contantly evolving and it is shaped by my daily experiences. Colour, shape, texture and light are all part of the composition of each painting, all that are quite different but all linked by the love of flowers.

I enjoy painting with acrylics, the ease of blending the paint and using both fine and bold brush strokes ensure very painting has it's own unique quality and character.

Over the years I have found that my large paintings, (100cm x 100/123cm) have become feature paintings in the home of many people. To paint a picture is a comforting and absorbing experience, an escape in so many ways and it is always an absolute delight and compliment to know that when a painting is purchased, someone else enjoys that paintng too.
