I was inspired by the afternoon light shining on this charming old cottage and surrounding gardens. The location is the beautiful countryside of south Western Australia. A moderately textured landscape spontaneously painted in alla prima style, using a combination of brush and palette knife.
Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
