The trees are Karris which are native to south Western Australia. I was inspired by the golden masses of foliage, the pale blue sky and the slow moving creek meandering through the Karri Tree forest. ''Tall Trees 3'' is spontaneously painted in an alla prima style using mainly palette knife.
