Disguised as one of them, you creep near enough to be noticed, yet unidentified. The stampede begins, and your sprint leads them to the edge where you dive to the side of the abyss to hide. Those near the front, desperate to stop, are driven by the mass over the precipice.

I'm a painter, printmaker and draftsman based in the United States. My works have been widely exhibited nationally and collected internationally. I am also founder of the new ShadowBoxX Gallery in the growing arts district in Waukegan, IL - a northern suburb of Chicago.

My work is inspired by nature, urban spaces, inner journeys, absurdities, and working people. I'm also influenced by the old masters, the innovation of contemporary artists, the realms of mythology and psychology. Music, writing, mathematics, and technology are interwoven in my artistic journey.

I channel subconscious imagery from within through my artwork. I hope my works resonate with viewers, motivating them towards greater understanding, compassion and empathy.

I was formally trained in the sight/size realism technique, but I thrive on experimentation, often building my own tools to help me create my ideas.
