Two herdsmen steering some cattle and sheep trough the mountains have stopped to rest, now having turned their attention to a distant farmstead. Do they push on or seek shelter in the failing light? A little further along the trail an impatient cow looks back toward them -irritated by the delay. In the foreground an old bull stands proudly over the other cattle, as they rest silently - unaffected by the goings on. A few sheep take whatever time they have been afforded, backs turned toward the light. Beyond the travelling group the mountains rise and fall in the distance before dissolving in the suns evening glow. Above them soft clouds float effortlessly in the warm summer air as the birds pass overhead and make their way towards their evening roost.
