Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed certificate of authenticity.

The Common Bronzewing is a vibrant coloured pigeon found throughout Australia. The species visits our garden on a regular basis, often around where our ducks and chooks live.
I watched this one for quite a while as he basked on top of our chook shed grooming his incredible iridescent feathers. I've added glazes of iridescent gold in his feathers so he sparkles in the light.

Painted in high quality, Artist grade watercolours on textured Arches cold pressed paper 300gsm. The painting has a wide professional matt board ready to be framed to your preference. Internal window size is: 24cm width x 18cm height, with matt board total measurements are: 42cm width x 37cm height.

The painting is great addition to a natural history collection and suits both a modern and traditional interior.
