Acrylic painting , Original Artwork of โClownfish โ by Moira Briel
This original artwork was painted with a acrylic pallet on a 61 cm by 45.50 cm stretched canvas with a depth of 1.5cm on a acrylic canvas and a protective coat of (gloss) varnish has been applied to seal the acrylic paints and ensure the work stays looking its best for a life time
This painting of the โ Clownfish โ from the Great Barrier Reef are aggressively territorial of their anemone and having a symbiotic relationship with it . They will protect their home from prying fish that like to eat anemone tentacles. Their bright orange with vertical white stripes down their sides make this fish so magnificently beautiful . I enjoyed painting all the bright colours of the fish and the anemone in purples , pinks and whites all coming together to create this splash of colour with happy little faces of the clownfish. Some fascinating species of fish we are lucky to have in Australia. Do spoil yourself to this beautiful painting to brighten up your home or gift it to a special friend for a special occasion
