Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
"Along the banks of the Murray River" is another painting depicting the tranquillity of a slow moving inland river. The serenity of just sitting or standing there does a world of good for one's feeling of well being. This scene was of our trip to southern NSW / northern VIC , where we stayed in Albury and took some walks along this mighty river in Spring. It's wonderful to see the new leaves of Gum trees as well as the Jacarandas in bloom during the Spring season. Always a sign of hope and renewal, after the odd cold and wet winter months. Regional lakes and rivers create many of these serene vistas. This tranquil scene was a joy to create on a close to full sheet of watercolour paper.
Original painting created in December 2018. Signed on the front.
