Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Australian Outback: Views over Plains from Baldy Top Lookout in South West Queensland" was inspired by our trip to Birdsville in 2009. If you have ever travelled through our stunning Outback region, these outcrops are scattered throughout. Some are easily accessible but they do require a good climb to get up to the top. A vast vista opened up between the two rock formations.Just stunning to see. I love how the sunshine seemed to add a glow to the sandstone rocks and deepen the colours of the shadow areas.
