Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

I'm over the moon that this lovely artwork has received a Special Recognition Award by the Light, Space and Time Gallery as part of their 10th Anniversary worldwide competition. With total number of entries received by the gallery 2129, that's quite an achievement.
This is part of my Australian Landscapes series. It's depicting the beauty of autumn hues high up in the Blue Mountains in the village of Mt Wilson. This is the Cathedral Reserve area of Mt Wilson on the road to Mt Irvine. A wonderful sight when the deciduous trees change colours when the weather turns cold and the sunshine appear to add life to the landscape.
