"Autumn Sensation" is a fantasy using fluid acrylic paints to create an artwork reminiscent of the colours found in the fall. Tones of reds, browns, yellows, white, greys and gold. Inspiration came from our visit to the Mount Wilson area last autumn and walking along the various paths, fallen leaves scattered around, with bright colours in contrast to the dark earthy tones.
I used the Dutch pour method, but, only small areas at any one time, using my trusted heat gun set on cool as well as my torch, which resulted in tactile textured work.
