Enjoying the Great Outdoors is something which overcomes me every now and then to leave suburbia behind for the day. This is the first of a series I am contemplating as the more busy and hectic life becomes, the more I have a yearning to go where one finds lovely expanses of blue skies as well as wide open landscapes. It's a simple joy to just take a breath of fresh country air. This simple landscape would have been around Mudgee area from a number of years back.

The rugged cliffs in the foreground are covered in greenery while the middle ground consists of rolling hills.
