Artwork Description

It was as a girl when we first came across this view down the coast from Bald Hill lookout. Back in those days, the car park hadn't been built out and no viewing platform on the agenda. Anyway, really by chance, we took a drive up the coast via the Sea Cliff Bridge and ended up at the same point we were all those years ago. A magical view down the coast, bringing back memories of a wonderful poem by Dorothy McKellar 'My Country'. Really inspired me to paint this scene.

A vista along the Illawarra Coastline in NSW, following the Grand Pacific Drive, dotted with coves, hamlets, villages with their picturesque sandy and or rugged beaches and of course the Sea Cliff Bridge, all set against the blues of the ocean under blue misty skieswalking along a warm sandy path to beautiful Merimbula Beach on the Sapphire Coast, southern NSW, following lots of footsteps, looking forward to a great time and hoping the cloud front coming up from the south won't bring rain.under pastel skies, are parts of the rocky headland reaching into the sea in the distance, foamy white wave action hitting the sand and the sand dunes with their grasses Twilight Reflections is a painting depicting a vibrant and colourful sunset over a stretch of water. Where the sun is setting on the horizon, and her rays reach the water casting golden hues. It captures a natural landscape scene during twilight, giving the painting an overall feel of being serene and tranquil.

a sunny spring morning in South Albury along the bank of the Murray River under the cover of three eucalyptus gum trees giving lots of shade in stark contrast to the sunlit areas on the other side and their soft reflections in the slow moving waters.a cluster of flowering pink gumnuts amidst an array of green leaves beautifully presented in a simple black frame with white double matset within the Greater Blue Mountains National Park, surrounded by typical aussie bushland with native gum trees and shrubs is this majestic looking architectural wonder the iconic Jenolan Caves House with it's many faceted edwardian architeture, chimneys and red roofs under blue and grey skies, along the banks of the Tumut River is a wealth of fall hues shining brightly in autumn sunshine, with a lovely quiet spot to get away from is all and just daydream.
