"Australian Outback, Birdsville Track Wetlands, S.A." is one of my oldest Acrylic paintings inspired by our trip through the Australian Outback along the Birdsville Track in early Spring. We'd decided to stopover at the Mungerannie Hotel about halfway between Birdsville and Marree. Always inspired by nature, it was a lovely surprise to see so many waterbirds flock to the waterhole, tending to forget all about those pesky little flies which accompanied us in abundance.
Original painting created in September 2014. Signed on the front. Professionally framed and ready to hang.

a sunny spring morning in South Albury along the bank of the Murray River under the cover of three eucalyptus gum trees giving lots of shade in stark contrast to the sunlit areas on the other side and their soft reflections in the slow moving waters.a cluster of flowering pink gumnuts amidst an array of green leaves beautifully presented in a simple black frame with white double matset within the Greater Blue Mountains National Park, surrounded by typical aussie bushland with native gum trees and shrubs is this majestic looking architectural wonder the iconic Jenolan Caves House with it's many faceted edwardian architeture, chimneys and red roofs under blue and grey skies, along the banks of the Tumut River is a wealth of fall hues shining brightly in autumn sunshine, with a lovely quiet spot to get away from is all and just daydream.
