"Shopping Spree on a wet Autumn Day in Venice" is one of a few of my Venetian landscape scenes which doesn't depict a canal or bridges and I believe this is my first one where I used acrylic paint to create it. I have never been to this amazing city, (it's been on my bucket list) with it's intriguing history, it's beautiful architecture, being built on water, where the buildings are surrounded by canals, waterways and many bridges. And, with being a very beautiful city, Venice attracts millions of visitors each year, and this image captures the throngs of people moving throughout the city, even on dismally wet days.
