Artwork Description

"Whispers of Strawberries on Azure Blues" is another painting inspired by our natural world. The various hues of Azure blues remind me of our ocean and the abstract pink strawberries of our garden plants. What looks like anything your imagination can conjure up, from lovely strawberry pink blossoms to our wonderful sea and oceans and anything in between. This is painted with the same thick flat brush using varying amounts of red, white, and violet which were pressed onto the board, mixing the paints at the same time, leaving textured work. The quirky lines were made using syringe filled with various colours, also leaving some texture. A tactile artwork.
Original painting created in October 2020. Signed on the front. Ready to hang.
Artist quality acrylics on round artist board, edges painted in azure blue light.
Finished with Satin Spray Varnish for protection.
Styled scene, hanging and in situ setting is for display purposes only and is not to scale.
Just to give you an idea of how this bright artwork may look on your wall.
Would look great in any setting which can use some fresh cheerful colours.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
PLEASE NOTE: Colours can differ slightly from monitor screens, mobile devices and tablets.

Artist Bio

Monika Scheffler is a Sydney based visual artist who specialises in acrylic and watercolour paintings. She was hooked for life in 2012, when she started participating in various courses to this day, either online, in classrooms and workshops.
Monika draws inspiration from nature and captures its beauty in her realistic to impressionistic style. Her artworks can feature delicate details, expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colours. Her goal is to bring joy and peace to the viewer through her natural landscapes and floral art.
Monika has exhibited her paintings in several group art shows, online platforms as well as a gallery in collaboration with another artist and has won several awards along the way, receiving positive feedback from critics and collectors alike. Some of her notable works include “Blue Mountains – Three Sisters”, “Govetts Leap Blue Mountains”, “Flower Power”, “Manly Ferry Ride at Sunset” and “Autumn Sunshine”.
For this year, in response to the world around us, Monika has set her sights to creating more impressionistic floral artworks, incorporating her love of colours as well as honing her skills with soft pastels after having participated in a workshop in recent times amidst finalising projects she began last year.
