Aquarelles / Watercolours on paper

I fell in love with this beautifully translucent medium and it has taken many years of practice, practice and practice again to reach this level. But, there's way more room for improvement. At least, my collection showcases works from the beginning of my journey to my recent ones, with many finding new homes along the way.
You'll notice when browsing, it's all about the natural world and the built environment.

a wonderful specimen of the iconic Magpie with his alert golden red eyes watching our every move in order to snatch up any morsel falling to the ground, on a background of iridescent electric blue, light at the top to darker areas and spots towards the bottom.

under peachy grey skies rising above the trees of The Rocks area of Sydney is the iconic archway of the "Coathanger" surrounded by old and modern architectural buildings in light and shade, the older ones with chimneys and red chimney pots, the modern ones with clear and blue glass panes reflecting the pastel sky.
