Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, I developed a love for art at a very early age. I studied painting at the Taras Shevchenko State Art School. After graduation in 1986 from The National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture I began teaching at the Kyiv Children's Art School and in 2003 was selected as the director of the school.
In 2016 together with my daughter Nadin I opened a private art school Profi-Art. The school became very popular in Kyiv, professional artists taught there.
For the last 12 years I have been organizing plein-airs and creative trips for artists, students, and teachers from both the Kyiv Children’s Art school and Profi-Art. More than 30 creative trips and plein air tours around Europe have been arranged. On these trips the art exhibitions of works by children and adult artists were organized in Paris, Provence, Portugal, Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland.
I came to California fleeing the war with Russia. Here I continue to engage in creativity – painting, teaching, and participating in fundraising for Ukraine exhibitions.
