Hi, Thanks for taking a look at my work. I'm a Canberra based Artist painting in oil and gouache. My passion for painting started when I lived in Colorado and immersed myself in the Denver art community learning to paint oils in the "Alla Prima" style. Alla Prima paintings are created in one sitting often painted wet on wet producing fresh, loose and visible brush strokes that give the painting a playful energy.

I enjoy transforming simple life subjects into colourful light infused scenes that are bright and happy. Since returning to Australia the native flora and fauna of my homeland has been inspiring my most recent work. I am enjoying playing with deep translucent colours contrasting against light and colourful opaques and slowly increasing the scale of the work I'm producing. The process of making these pieces is like a meditation that brings me joy. I'm happy to have the opportunity to share them with you.
