I just love painting Roosters and Hens. I have a small flock of my own and waste endless hours watching them scratch and peck. Roosters are such a joy to paint with those great big tail feathers that lend themselves to big expressive brushstrokes. This cute

This piece is painted in oil paints on panel and finished with a light varnish. Painting will need to be placed in a frame for hanging but has been painted in a common size for premade frames.

Paintings are photographed in natural light to represent colours as accurately as possible.
