Artwork Description

The Three Ladies is an abstract composition structured from layered blocks of cobalt blue, ultramarine, deep violet, and charcoal black, interwoven with vivid accents of orange, red, green, white, and gold. The surface is built through controlled brushwork and softly blended planes, creating a subtle grid that holds a shifting rhythm of light and shadow. Each color field overlaps in varying transparencies, giving the piece a sense of atmospheric depth—like luminous windows opening inside a darker architectural space. Streaks of orange and white break across the canvas like sudden flashes, while the more muted blues and greens provide a soft, meditative counterbalance. The interplay between saturated warm highlights and cool, shadowed zones gives the painting a pulsating, almost cinematic movement.

Artist Bio

Originally from France and now rooted in Chicago, Nathalie Gribinski paints as if composing a symphony—each color a note, each line a rhythm of emotion. Her creative journey began in graphic design, where structure met imagination, before she surrendered fully to the expressive freedom of fine art. Today, her paintings burst with life, blending fluid forms and intricate details in acrylics and oil markers to create worlds that breathe and move with energy.

Her art is born from music, friendship, and the poetry of experience. Nathalie listens deeply to what she paints—translating invisible feelings into visible harmonies of color and movement. Within her work, chaos and serenity coexist, forming a dance that mirrors the human spirit’s search for balance and connection.

Having once studied law in Paris, Nathalie carries within her a dual language: the precision of order and the boundless freedom of creation. Chicago became her awakening, a city where she found her true voice in color. This journey—from silence to vibrancy—shapes the essence of her art and continues to inspire her bold, distinctive style.

Her accomplishments include exhibitions across continents, award-winning illustrations for Sofitel, published books uniting words and imagery, and innovative NFT collections that weave tradition with digital evolution. Through all mediums, Nathalie’s work invites contemplation, joy, and the rediscovery of life’s pulse—an ever-flowing rhythm of color, resilience, and love.
