Dromana is a bayside centre located south of Melbourne, nestled between Safety Beach and McCrae on the Mornington Peninsula. The Pier stretches out 200 meters making it popular for fishing so wanting to be the first one out I had to be up as early as possible. I recall it being a warm morning that day, the beach was so calm with only a slight breeze in the air but otherwise totally silent. Arriving at the pier I noticed the reflections in the sand created by the waves and so I decided thatโs where I needed to be for this shot. I set up the camera and watched how peacefully each breaking wave reaching my feet was leaving a reflection on the sand, this was certainly an enjoyable experience but thats not what I was there for. As each breaking wave created a reflection I was firing away frame after frame until the sun came up and eventually calling it a wrap.
