I find myself irresistibly drawn to the space beneath piers, where the converging lines hold a magnetic allure. Some of these structures exhibit a remarkable balance and uniformity, while others defy such order. Yet, the lines maintain their steady convergence as they draw closer together. A particularly challenging endeavor unfolded beneath the pier at Point Lonsdale, owing to the rocky seabed beneath the water's surface. With my tripod perched on uneven terrain, I ventured deeper and deeper into the water until the submerged rocks vanished from view. This allowed the water to flow smoothly around me. After numerous visits to Point Lonsdale, I finally achieved a result that left me truly satisfied.
