Red Earth Reflections is a photograph captured in the small township of Batesford, Victoria. Dog Rocks Road is well know amongst photographers for its unique rocky landscape. The photographed is from my very own private collection which is being offered for the first time. Although I offer these as limited edition prints with a run of 50 only, this is edition number 20 from my very own private collection with a unique one off custom size and complimented with a custom hand made frame. Printed on archival matte smooth paper using world class Epson pigment inks for longevity. The frame is hand made from solid raw Tasmanian Oak timber with a profile of 65mm x 30mm, the overall outer dimensions measure 1210mm x 1820mm. The artwork measures 1025mm x 1640mm and includes a 25mm white border, which is mounted onto a 5mm foam core clay backing board and finished with clear high grade plexiglass, this is essential for transporting with added benefits over conventional glass. Efforts were made to reduce the overall weight bringing the total down to 15kgs only. There are 2 x D rings fitted on the rear for hanging, no wire is fitted and also not recommended. In my professional experience a wire across the frame with 2 supporting anchors will in time cause a bow and warp the frame under its own weight, for this reason independent supports on either side as pictured work best. Feel free to contact me with your questions regarding this artwork, due to the large size this artwork will require very careful packaging for safe transport and may require 3-5 days before being dispatched.
Thank you for looking.

Artist Bio
Nick Psomiadis was born in 1968 in Melbourne, Australia to Greek parents who migrated to the country in the mid-sixties. He received his education from a Technical School, renowned for its comprehensive curriculum integrating both academic and practical skills. This solid foundation paved the way for his successful career in jewelry making, which spanned nearly two decades starting in 1986. Additionally, he indulged in his love for photography, which he pursued as a hobby and pastime.
In 2011, Nick made a life-changing decision to follow his passion for photography, leaving behind a fulfilling profession. He furthered his education, completing a course of studies that encompassed both theory and practical training, and was conferred with a "Diploma of Photography." However, he quickly realized that turning his passion into a profession would require immense effort and dedication.
Establishing a home studio, Nick laid the foundation for his art, which he created and exhibited for a decade. In the winter of 2021, he achieved a significant milestone by purchasing a studio and gallery space in Melbourne, departing from his modest home studio. Nick currently produces photographic fine art, prints, and displays his works under the name N I K A R T Studio & Gallery, 7/20 Ponting Street Williamstown, Vic 3016.
Nick draws inspiration from both the natural landscape and the built environment, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to capture an ephemeral moment in time.
