Kookaburra Perch is a hand-coloured linocut print in a limited edition of 4 original artworks.

A laughing kookaburra, a favourite and iconic Australian bird is perched on a branch between kangaroo paws, hakeas, wattle and gum flowers. Delicately carved into the lino block and carefully hand coloured with washes of watercolour. The black background increases the vibrancy of the watercolours.

Each print is printed with oil based artists quality inks on 300gsm cotton rag paper and coloured with artists quality watercolours. They are numbered, titled and signed on the border. The image is 29.7x42cm with a border so it can be matted to the edge or float framed.
