A backwards glancing female figure, named after the fringe lillies in the painting moves through a wreath made up of native flowers.
The painting is a celebration of wildflower season in WA with banksias, hakkeas, flowering gums, bottlebrush, purple peas, fringe lillies, blue flax lillies, Australian bluebells and donkey orchids.
The figure is dressed in rich green with a pink headscarf echoing the flowers around her.
