Linocut Boab - Rainbow

This boab linocut was developed from a drawing of the stunning tree in Kings Park, Perth. I love the large bottle shaped trunk and high canopy.

In this piece I stylized the image to emphasize the carving of the block and played with deep and light markmaking and the balance of light and dark. This print is a unique state linocut with a rainbow of colours handpainted within the image.

Printed with the highest quality archival inks on beautiful paper, it has a large border for framing with the date, signature and title.
