Pandemonium is an original handpulled linocut in a variable limited edition of 6.

A group of parrots is called a pandemonium which suits their energy and noise. This artwork depicts the gorgeous Australian 28 ringnecks which flock to my garden to feast on the fig trees every summer. 

Number 6 in the edition is coloured in a vibrant palette with velvety black ink printed on a smooth white 300gsm cotton rag paper.

Each bird is picked out in a different monochrome colourway adding to the energy and fun of these beautiful birds.

It is shipped carefully rolled in a sturdy tube and is ready to be framed.

Nicola is a Perth based multi-award winning artist and owner of The Artists Nook a collaborative artists team providing public and community art projects throughout WA. She has a BA Honours in Fine Art Printmaking from Gray’s School of Art in Scotland.

Her art practice encompasses printmaking and painting with a focus on linocut and watercolour. Nature is a constant throughout her work with native flowers and birds as subjects and motifs.

Art Nouveau and stained glass work have been an enduring inspiration and are echoed throughout her pieces. Juxtaposing flat ink against textural and tonal watercolour washes create a tactility in her still life and botanical pieces.
