This work focuses on the landmark known as 'Watonga Rocks'. Derived from an intrinsic interest in seeing a different perspective of the rock formations that the Artist walks past and paints so often both En Plein Air and in studio. The detailed work of the houses that line the beach known as Lighthouse Beach in Port Macquarie NSW, draw the viewer in for a closer look. A drone was used to source the reference material for this piece.
'Aerial View Of Lighthouse Beach' was selected as a finalist for the 'Northern Exposure 6' Exhibition at the Glasshouse Regional gallery in 2020.
This one-off original artwork was painted with high quality Langridge Professional Artists' Oil (handmade in Melbourne) on premium stretched deep edge cotton duck canvas. It is finished with Windsor & Newton Gloss varnish for UV protection and longevity. A collectors authenticity certificate is included for valuation & insurance purposes.
