The Blue Mountains are a rugged region west of Sydney in Australia’s New South Wales. Known for dramatic scenery, it encompasses steep cliffs, eucalyptus forests, waterfalls and villages dotted with guesthouses, galleries and gardens. This view is from Govetts Leap Lookout, Grose Valley.

Nicola McLeay is a New Zealand born realism artist & visionary of public exhibition space 'Lighthouse Gallery' located in Port Macquarie NSW.

Nicola grew up on a large scale high country farm in the mountainous region of the deep south of NZ. A picturesque but very challenging environment from snow blizzards & extreme frosts to spring blossoms & lush green hills. This lifestyle undoubtedly moulded her appreciation for the beauty of nature & continues to influence the art she creates.

Nicola has worked for & with numerous art galleries over her 19 year fine art & graphic design career. Having gained valuable experience dealing with commercial & private art collections, corporate art leasing, home staging, exhibition design & curation.
