Voyage is an atmospheric coastal landscape incorporating elements of architecture, cliffs and the ocean. Cobalt blue contrasts beautifully with burnt umber, soft aqua and hints of burnt orange.

Voyage is part of my obscure landscape series. I have moved over 40 times in my life, throughout Australia and New Zealand. Fragments of these places filter through my memories and blend together into obscurity.

Painted with professional artist grade oil paints over an acrylic underpainting. Painted on a triple primed cotton duck canvas, stretched over a heavy duty kiln dried frame. The staples are on the back. The work has been varnished in matte and arrives ready to hang.
