Artwork Description

An oil painting taken from north Cronulla beach looking toward the south cronulla beach and surf life saving club on a sunny winters day.

There is a small shadow down the right side of the canvas, this was caused by the frame, when taking the photo. Framed with white timber double frame (no glass) making it look very fresh and modern.

“I am predominantly a landscape oil painter, enjoying bush and coastal scenes. My landscapes are influenced by many past and present Australian landscape artists, as well as the impressionist and post-impressionist movements.. Of particular interest to me, is the use of colour, light and movement in our unique Australian landscape. ‘
