Artwork Description

I’m obsessed with the Australian bush at the moment. The colours in the gum trees astound me. This piece was inspired by a trip I took to Mt Canobolas in regional NSW. I was completely awestruck as walked through the mist and the gum trees towards Federation Falls. The colours and the light were magical. Our Australian landscape is so unique and I feel quite humbled to have the opportunity to portray
it with my paintbrush.

I have been painting professionally for 25 years and have these 25 years learning and honing my painting skills while deepening my passion for the Australian landscape.

My original artworks are produced using very high quality materials and all are professionally hand stretched and constructed. I prefer to paint on primed polyester as it is a very smooth surface and incredibly strong. It is more durable than cotton canvas. The works will last a lifetime and not only will you be adding to your personal art collection,

This artwork comes professionally framed in natural oak so please allow a few days for framing. My framer will prioritise my pieces.
(If you DO NOT want it externally framed, please send me a message when purchasing. It is painted around the edges and has a string across the back).

Add to or begin your family’s art collection - something to be treasured and handed down to the next generation.

“I am predominantly a landscape oil painter, enjoying bush and coastal scenes. My landscapes are influenced by many past and present Australian landscape artists, as well as the impressionist and post-impressionist movements.. Of particular interest to me, is the use of colour, light and movement in our unique Australian landscape. ‘
