An original oil painting painted on a hand stretched and constructed canvas. Price includes professional framing in solid oak with a 5cm deep beautiful contemporary frame.
This was inspired by a view I found walking along Lady Carrington Drive in the Royal National Park, in the Sutherland Shire. I believe the creek came off the Port hacking River.
It is a colourful relaxed piece that is expressionistic in style with strong mark making style brushstrokes. I really enjoyed painting this artwork and I think it shows! I was completely immersed in our incredible Australian bush and was captivated by the morning light coming through the forest and onto that creek below. The reflections were gorgeous. Hope you enjoy looking at this original oil as much as I enjoyed painting it.
